Omaha Public Schools Foundation administers scholarships for Omaha Public Schools graduating seniors. You can preview the scholarship requirements here and apply online.
The Omaha Public Schools Foundation strives to raise new scholarship dollars each year to provide optimal funding for Omaha Public Schools graduating seniors the opportunity to pursue post-secondary education, while growing established endowments. #OPSFpossible
Please contact your high school counselor and/or scholarship committee for information on all scholarships offered through the district. The 2025-2026 Applications Portal will open November 5, 2025 and will be closing March 2, 2026. Awards will be presented in May.
OPSF Scholarship Requirements
To provide financial assistance to an OPS student who attended Field Club Elementary for at least 2 years and is an Omaha Public School Senior Graduate seeking post-secondary education, in memory of Braxton Kirksey .
To provide financial assistance to a Northwest Omaha Public School Graduate seeking post-secondary education. The scholarship can be used at any postsecondary institution or trade school.
To provide annual scholarships to graduating seniors from any of the Omaha Public High Schools.
Miracle Hills Optimist/CHI Health, Scholarship for a OPS Senior graduating from Benson, Bryan, Buena Vista, Central, North, Northwest, South and Westview enrolling in a Four-Year Degree Program or Two Year Transfer Program.
Miracle Hills Optimist/CHI Health, Scholarship for a Burke Graduate enrolling in a Four-Year Degree Program or Two Year Transfer Program.
