Benson Bunny Den

Benson Bunny Den

The Bunny Den was created to alleviate family stress by offering Benson students a safe and confidential place to receive items necessary to meet their basic needs.  We hope by fulfilling these needs students will be able to focus more on being successful in the classroom and being involved in school activities.

By donating, you are helping us provide students with basic non perishable food items, offer basic clothing and coats to students, and provide hygiene items for both males and females.

We also accept new and lightly used coats, hats and gloves in boys and girls sizes S-XL and men’s and women’s sizes S-XL. To donate these clothing items, please email Angela Johanek, Academy Specialist (Health, Business, & Design), Benson High Magnet Coordinator,  or call 531.299.8040, to arrange delivery or pick-up.

Thank you for considering a donation to allow us to continue our mission. You can donate by contributing using the online donation form or making out a check and sending to:

We hope to build an endowment that will ensure that financial need is not a barrier preventing a student from participating in Marching Band.

When the need arises, financial assistance for instrument repair, uniform need may be available to every student when based on a recommendation by staff and parents.

Gomez Heritage Playground

Gomez Heritage Elementary TimberwolvesIn the heart of our school lies Timberwolf Park, a place where laughter echoes and dreams take flight. Yet, amidst the towering trees and swaying grass, there’s a small corner waiting to blossom into a haven for our little ones—the early childhood area. As the sun rises and sets, it calls out for a playground, a vibrant space where young imaginations can soar and friendships can bloom.

At the heart of our mission lies a simple belief: every child deserves a space to play, explore, and grow. It’s not just about swings and slides; it’s about creating an environment where our youngest adventurers can build resilience, develop social skills, and unleash their boundless creativity. A playground isn’t just a structure—it’s a gateway to a world of possibilities.

Now is the time to rally together, to transform this vision into reality. With your support, we can breathe life into the early childhood area of Timberwolf Park, creating a playground that will be cherished for generations to come. Every swing set, every climbing frame, and every laughter-filled moment will be a testament to our commitment to nurturing the potential of our community’s children.

Join us in this journey. Your voice, your passion, and your generosity can make a difference. Together, let’s pave the way for brighter futures and joyful memories. Together, let’s build a playground where dreams take flight.

Take action today. Share our mission, spread the word, and lend your support however you can. Together, we can create a world of wonder for our little adventurers at Timberwolf Park. Let’s make it happen.
